Do you know Moses?
 Well,actually this is Charlton Heston impersonating
 Moses in the famous movie the ten commandaments.
 Nice guy Moses,great prophet of God in the Old
 Testament.
 He received the tables of the LAW of God on mount
 Sinai,you can see the image on the right.
 The first table contains the 4 commandaments on 
 How to worship GOD in the right way. 

 The second table tells us how to treat our fellow man.
 The LAW tells us that if WE DO what is commanded
 we shall live and be blessed.
 
 BUT, if we fail to DO ALL that the LAW of GOD
 commands, the penalty is DEATH.

 So,it is a question of LIFE or DEATH.
 Pretty serious stuff....let's see how you perform,OK?

 1. DO NOT WORSHIP ANY OTHER GODS.
     Do you worship any other God than the TRUE LIVING GOD?
     (think and answer to yourself)
  2. DO NOT MAKE ANY IDOLS.
      Do you have idols?( an "idol" is anything or anybody that is
      a driving passion for man,example: SEX,MONEY,POSITION,
      RELIGION,....and more.)
      (think and answer to yourself)
  3.DO NOT MISUSE THE NAME OF GOD.
     How are we doing so far?
     Do you misuse His Name? Did you ever?
     ( think and answer to yourself).
  4.KEEP THE SABBATH HOLY.
     What about this commandament? How are you performing?
     If you are an human being like me,I am sure you are not doing
     too well....

 5.HONOUR YOUR FATHER AND MOTHER.
    What about this commandament?
    (Think and answer to yourself.)
 6.DO NOT MURDER.
    We can murder other people also with words,evil words,hate etc...
     How are you doing?

 7.DO NOT COMMIT ADULTERY.
    Are you faithful to your spouse? Did you ever thought even once to have 
    somebody else rather than your legitimate spouse? 
 8.DO NOT STEAL.
    Did you ever steal?may be a little something that wasn't yours...may be ONCE?
 9.DO NOT LIE.
    Do you lie? Did you ever tell a lie? may be a "white" lie....any lie?
10.DO NOT COVET.
    Do you ever COVET?desire something or someone that is not yours?
    Think about all the answers you gave to the questions,I am sure YOU failed.
    

 The fact is that if you ever lied,even only once,you are a LIAR,if you used God's name in vain,may be in a moment of anger 
 or frustration, that makes you a BLASPHEMER,and so on....You are GUILTY,in fact we ALL ARE GUILTY ( me too,ok?)
 NOBODY is able to obey the LAW.....our human nature is corrupted beyond repair.
 It is a FACT.It is a despairing fact,because the consequences of breaking GOD'S LAW are FATAL.
 The LAW requires satisfaction,the PENALTY is DEATH. Eternal death.
 I can hear the typical objections like:" Oh well, a God of Love surely will not sentence me to death,after all we are all the
 same,everybody is guilty ..." or " I cannot change my nature,but basically I am a good person and so God on judgment day
 will weigh my bad actions against my good actions and...."whatever....no my friend,DON'T FOOL YOURSELF,please,just
 be patient and bear with me,I will tell you the GOSPEL and then YOU DECIDE what to do,OK?
 

 If you speed on the freeway and go over the speed limit prescribed and you get caught you have to pay the fine.
 If you steal from the supermarket store and you get caught you will be processed and sentenced to jail,same if you rob the
 bank or if you murder or brake the law in any other way,agreed?
 The judge,the human judge,will examine the case and sentence you,according to the law.
 No mercy in the law.The Romans used to say: " DURA LEX SED LEX" meaning:"LAW IS HARSH BUT IT IS THE LAW".
 Unless you are....GRACED...unless "someone else pays on your behalf and you are pardoned and set free!"

 All have sinned and THE WAGES of SIN is DEATH! but THE GIFT of GOD is ETERNAL LIFE in JESUS!!!!
 This man HAS PAID as YOUR SUBSTITUTE!:

 Yes,JESUS CHRIST PAID THE PRICE,
  He paid THE HEFTY PRICE,He took
  the blow of the punishment for YOU!!!
 He didn't have to,He was SINLESS and
 INNOCENT, but HE LOVED YOU SO 
 MUCH that HE CHOOSE to go on the 
 cross and DIE in YOUR PLACE and so
 satisfy the just requirement of The Law
 of God so that YOU receive Forgiveness
 and LIFE!
 All YOU have to do is BELIEVE in HIM.
 

 Friend, GOD IS LOVE,He doesn't
 want to see you in Hell,no,He doesn't
 take pleasure in the death of the wicked
 HE WANTS TO SAVE EVERYONE.
 You see,The Lord is really really really
 GOOD and COMPASSIONATE and
 MERCIFUL,and LONGSUFFERING,
 and PATIENT,and ALLTOGETHER
 LOVELY....He is also a JUST GOD,HE
 cannot CONDONE SIN...HE MUST
 JUDGE SIN,but HE KNOWS that YOU
 and I have no chance to pay the price.
 Sin is an INFINITE OFFENCE and
 requires an INFINITE PRICE....we are
 spiritually bankrupted!
 May be you have lots of money in the
 bank....but spiritually you are DONE!
 So where do we go from here? 

 NO MERCY IN THE LAW!!!!
 NO MERCY but JUDGMENT!!!
 The sentence is MANDATORY:
 
 
      D E A T H!!!
